Winston Pond is Consultancy Leader for Leadership Solutions Limited, a New Zealand-based development consultancy. The company works with organisations and individuals to develop and maintain team-based management systems.
One of New Zealand’s more experienced organisation development consultants, Winston has worked in education, training and development sectors for organisations throughout his career. Winston started his career as a teacher and then moved into the training and development area in 1980. Since then, he has focused on organisation performance issues, developing an interest and expertise in the role of teams in high performance organisations. In turn, this has led to an increasing focus on leadership, resulting in the establishment of Leadership Solutions in 1997. With his partners, Dr Dawie Gouws and Hester Gouws he has built Leadership Solutions into a specialist consultancy which represents Belbin Associates UK in New Zealand and uses Belbin concepts and tools to build teamwork and leadership skills.
