What is the Belbin Team Role Accreditation course?
The Belbin Team Role Accreditation course is a certified two-day course designed for professionals who are looking to understand and implement Belbin Team Role theory within the workplace. Although not mandatory, we strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to use Belbin® Team Roles for training or consultancy.
Course Outline

- An understanding of the origin and definition of the nine Team Roles, as well as the relationships between the roles
- Knowledge of the contexts in which Team Roles can be applied (e.g. teambuilding, personal and organisational development, recruitment, training needs and job analysis)
- Familiarity with the range of reports available
- Experience in generating, interpreting and feeding back Team Role reports (using your own data)
- An understanding of how to use the model to improve individual and team effectiveness
- A signed certificate from Meredith Belbin (on passing the Accreditation test)
- Use of the Belbin Accreditation Logo (subject to terms and conditions)
