Use of the Belbin Team Role Accredited Logo

Individuals who pass the Belbin Accreditation Test may use the “Belbin® Team Role Accredited” Logo subject to the guidelines outlined below.

The logo (the “Logo”) can be used on stationery, promotional materials and the individual’s or company’s website (the “Materials”) under the following conditions:

1. Where the accredited person is an individual, it is on the Materials of that individual.

2. Where the accredited person is employed by a company, it can only be used by that company providing:

  • If it is used in such a way that such Materials cannot be mistaken for official BELBIN® correspondence (e.g. smaller than the business logo or largest lettering, or placed at the bottom of the page).
  • Employers and businesses may only use the Logo for their Materials if they currently employ at least one Accredited Belbin facilitator on a full time basis at that site address and it is shown that the Logo pertains to the individual only and not to the company.
  • When the logo is used on a website, the corresponding hyperlink is: https://www.belbin.com/belbin-training/accreditation
  • The Belbin Accredited facilitator must analyse Belbin Team Roles using the latest version of the Interplace Team Role account.

3. The Logo should be used in its original form.

Belbin Limited may withdraw your authority to use the Logo at any time in its sole discretion. Any goodwill relating to the Logo or any other Belbin Limited trade mark (whether registered or unregistered) vests solely with Belbin Limited. To the extent that any goodwill has or will accrue to you, you agree to assign all such goodwill to Belbin Limited at the request of Belbin Limited.

Use of the Belbin Team Role Slides

Accredited individuals also will be given access to a set of official Belbin Team Role slides, subject to the following conditions:

  • The slides remain the property of Belbin Limited, UK and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights. Belbin Limited reserve all its rights.
  • The accredited individual is granted a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use these Belbin Team Role slides.
  • The slides can be used by the accredited individual only.
  • The slides cannot be sold.
  • The slides cannot be edited or adulterated.

It is acceptable for the accredited person to overlay a Belbin slide onto a slide containing their own/their organisation’s logo, provided the Belbin slide remains unchanged (as stated above). Should information or guidance be needed contact the Belbin office.
